Are there really 10 Scarlet Skips upgrades?
The live store page we verified says 10 upgrade cards. Trust that paragraph and your client — we are not keeping a second unofficial count.

This Scarlet Skips upgrades page is the mini-wiki for the Rogue-Like half: 10 upgrade cards, a three-choice level-up, and stacking. It is not a complete datamine. Steam named three effects; everything else is labeled by evidence. Verified September 5, 2026 · Steam.
| Field | Status |
|---|---|
| Card count | 10 (Steam store) |
| Choice size | 3 random power-ups |
| Named on store | Jump height · extra jump-rope · fire |
| Stacking | Officially allowed and encouraged |
| Exact numbers | TBA / in-client |
| Rarity table | Not published |
Scarlet Skips does not describe a shop with gold. The store loop is: play well enough to level up, then choose 1 of 3 random power-ups. Those power-ups are the upgrade cards. Ten is small on purpose — the depth is combinations, not a 200-item wiki.
Random three-choice means you will not always see fire when you want fire. Plan a priority, not a shopping list. If your plan requires one exact card every run, you will reroll runs instead of learning the button. That is valid for high-score later, not for night one.

| Question | Verified answer | Not published |
|---|---|---|
| How many cards? | 10 on the store | A hidden 11th |
| How many shown? | 3 random power-ups | Always-offer rules |
| How do I pay? | Level up by playing | Gold / reroll token |
| Can they stack? | Yes — official | Numeric +% sheet |
Steam’s upgrade paragraph is short: ten cards, three shown, stacks combine into a huge configuration space. It does not promise a pity timer, a duplicate-protection rule, or a shop reroll button. If your client has any of those, screenshot it — this wiki will not invent a gacha layer.
Because the pool is only ten, you will see repeats across a long run. A second extra rope is still an extra rope: it changes tracking, not “the same card so ignore it.” Treat duplicates as stack math, not as a bug.
There is no listed gold, scrap, or reroll currency on the store. The spend is survival time — you earn the next three-choice by not missing. That is why Scarlet Skips upgrades feel closer to a score-attack modifier draft than to a shop RPG.
Steam’s own examples, quoted in spirit: increase your jump height, add a jump-rope, set it on FIRE. Those three are A-grade evidence. Use them as pillars.

| Card (store wording) | What it changes | New-player note |
|---|---|---|
| Increase jump height | Arc / hold budget | Good teacher; retune hold |
| Add a jump-rope | Objects to track | Clutter; delay if you still miss one rope |
| Set it on FIRE | Rope state + readability | Spectacle; watch the rope, not the VFX |
Players mention rocket boots, air fuel that refills if you level up while flying, and camera motion after enough jump upgrades. Those belong in builds as community / C-grade until the card title is captured from the client.
Ask one question: what killed me last time? If it was a single rope you can see, take height or a defensive-feeling card, not a second rope. If you are already bored and stable, take the card that enables a score or ending plan.
Readable text beats rarity FOMO. If you cannot finish reading the card before the music makes you click, pause. There is no published timer on the Steam page; if the UI is unpaused, you still have a human brain — use it.
| Goal | Prefer | Avoid early |
|---|---|---|
| Learn the game | Height, simple timing | Multi-rope + fire together |
| Ending attempt | Readable stack you can keep | Pure score toys you cannot control |
| High score | Survival + score toys once stable | Random clutter you cannot track |
| Joke / clip | Fire, extra ropes | Nothing — just know the run may be short |
Scan left to right once. Name each offer as timing, clutter, or toy. Take the role your last death asked for. If all three are toys and you still miss a single rope, take the least unread card and plan a short run — do not pretend you drafted a builds masterpiece.

Official line: upgrades stack and combine into a huge configuration space. In play that means the second extra rope is not “the same card again, ignore it.” Two ropes is a new tracking problem. Height plus fire is a new hold plus a new visual.
Stacking is why builds exists. This page only states the rule: more copies / more mix = new timing, not a hidden +5% spreadsheet (no official sheet).
| Stack you took | Retune this first | Common miss |
|---|---|---|
| Height + height | Hold length | Same tap as the opening |
| Rope + rope | Which rope is next | Tracking only the original |
| Height + fire | Release after the flash | Staring at Scarlet |
| Rope + fire | Lowest/fastest rope | Following the prettiest flame |
Each jump-height pick changes the hold budget. If you keep the opening tap after two height cards, you will float through the next window or clip on the way down. Retune hold first, press second.
Each extra jump-rope adds an object that can fail the run. The store sells this as spectacle. For Scarlet Skips upgrades on a learning night, one extra rope is a tracking exam; two is a clutter exam. Pass the first exam before you sit the second.
Fire is a state change on the same object, not a new button. Stacked with height, the flashy frames last longer in your eyes. Stacked with extra ropes, you may have more than one burning path. Watch the rope geometry, not the VFX.
Screenshot the card, play it once in a throwaway run, then write what it did in one sentence. Until this wiki has a client dump, unnamed rows stay TBA. Do not copy cheat-menu names from trainer sites as if they were Steam card titles.

Not until we capture in-game art. Placeholders would be fake wiki. Use this table + your screenshots.
Steam does not list an in-run currency. You spend survival: miss the rope and the draft ends.
Not in any store sentence we verified. If a button appears in your build, treat it as client-true and screenshot it.
Community talk, not Steam’s three examples. Keep them C-grade until the HUD title matches.
